Endangered, a concept of two images: The whooping crane whose numbers at 450 individuals, and a oil tanker. The biggest threat to the population of cranes who visit the gulf coast each winter.

Welcome! Maresa fell in love with nature at a young age spending her summers in West Virginia. During her time at Daytona Beach State College studying photography she knew the outdoors was her calling. She has newspaper experience, freelanced for Reuters News Service, and the Associated Press. Published worldwide in all forms of nature publications, teaches photo workshops, exhibits, lectures, and recently published “Did you Know” book series for children 4-8 years.
